Cannon Children Services Ltd are seeking three dynamic, full – time Residential Support Workers for their registered home in NCorbyorthampton, that will be providing care for children and young people aged 8 – 18.

You will be an integral part of the team and will attend to the young people’s physical, emotional, and practical needs. You will be a positive role model from which they learn and draw strength to navigate a life that will have the best possible chance to succeed and achieve their potential.

We prioritise the safeguarding of children and young people and you will therefore be required to undergo a full enhanced Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS) check.

At Cannon Children Services we value the development of our staff as well as the young people. Experience is not a requirement but a willingness to learn and support the journeys of the young people we care for, is much more so. You will be required to work towards and complete your residential qualification and will be given full training and guidance as you learn your role. If successful you wuill be supported towards attinment of the Level 3 children and Young People Diploma Qualification.

New starter – Support Worker – £10.50 – 11.40 hr. (plus 4 sleeps a month @ £40 per sleep)

Monthly salary shall be based a 40hour per week contract.

Pay: £10.90-£12.10 per hour

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
  • Senior Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (required)
