Full job description

We are seeking a skilled Software Product / Project Manager to join our team in the logistics industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing software development projects, working closely with our development team based in the Far East and collaborating with internal teams in the UK and clients globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to deliver high-quality software products
  • Communicate project status, timelines, and deliverables to stakeholders, including the CTO and internal teams
  • Manage product roadmaps, backlogs, and sprint planning to ensure timely delivery of software releases
  • Coordinate with the development team to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to agile methodologies
  • Gather and analyze user feedback and market trends to inform product improvements and new feature development
  • Foster a customer-centric approach to product development, ensuring user needs are met and exceeded
  • Facilitate effective communication between the UK-based team and the Far East development team, managing cross-timezone collaboration

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a software product management role
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions and resolve project challenges
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and product management software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Ability to work flexibly across time zones to accommodate the Far East development team
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a bonus but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
