A niche law firm with offices in Central and North London is looking for an highly skilled paralegal within the commercial property department.

Key objective

To provide high quality legal service to our clients whilst adhering to the standards of the practice as a paralegal within a supportive and friendly environment.

Key duties:

Responsible to a fee earner & partner, to assist and support the commercial as well as residential conveyancing teams.

Experience Required

• Atleast 1-2 year solid Commercial Conveyancing experience is essential
• Residential Property experience is desirable
• Property Litigation/General Litigation experience is desirable
• Fee earning experience is desirable

Development

• Gain competency in the skills required for the role
• Team Trainings provided on developments of the law in relevant fields of practice
• Participate in team meetings
• Attend CPD courses
• Keep up to date with law and practice
• Assist business development

Personal Skills

You will be expected to provide professional, prompt, efficient and friendly services to clients.

Interpersonal Skills

You will be expected to communicate clearly and appropriately, both orally and in writing with other parties whilst maintaining excellent working relationships. Other duties include being able to negotiate with clients and other professionals to secure objectives.

Academic Skills

You will have an excellent academic record.

Organisational Skills

You will be expected to assist in the life cycle of a transaction, usually under pressure and to tight deadlines. You must, therefore, be able to prioritise workloads at any given time.

Management Skills

You will have the ability to view situations from a commercial or business perspective. This requires you to look at a situation from different angles. You must, therefore, be capable of delegating tasks, working to meet departmental targets where appropriate and working on your own initiative.
