First Contact Physiotherapist: Visa sponsorship

Pure Physiotherapy

Job description

We are Pure Physiotherapy

Founded in 2006, Pure Physiotherapy is a clinically led organisation committed to providing quality physiotherapy care.

We have grown organically based on the delivery of expert Musculoskeletal physiotherapy provision and currently have over 350 physios working across the UK. Pure Physiotherapy is a National First Contact Physiotherapy (FCP) provider, focused on quality and sustainable provision.

We provide around 50,000 first-contact physio interventions per month and see around 10,000 in our private clinics and NHS MSK partnerships. We work with over 1,000 GP Practices, and over 190 Primary care networks (PCNs) Nationally. This makes us one of the biggest MSK providers to the NHS and private sectors in the country, and these incredible figures show the significant impact we are having on both Private and NHS Sectors.

However, size is not our focus, quality and consistency are, and we are very proud of what we do. We are looking for passionate, motivated physios who share our enthusiasm for quality and development.

Purpose of the role:

Without prior GP referral, First Contact Practitioners (FCPs) consult directly with patients, enabling rapid and accurate MSK diagnosis or providing referral to secondary care for further investigation. The role facilitates streamlined pathways of care by interpreting and acting on assessment findings and management plans. While FCPs are based within a GP Practice, support is provided through a robust network within Pure Physiotherapy, including direct Line Managers, roadmap supervisors, and a wider regional team that is accessible for assistance and support.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an expert MSK clinician within primary care, managing patient needs within scope of practice and utilising relevant services to support GPs.
  • Embed within the PCN, integrating as part of the team, and engaging with all stakeholders.
  • Deliver programs of supported patient self-management to facilitate behavioural change, optimise physical activity and mobility, and minimise pharmacological interventions.
  • Uphold company beliefs and ethos as an ambassador for Pure, ensuring thorough and transparent communication throughout work and with involved teams.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work across multiple GP Practices within the PCN contract.
  • Adapt to changing demands of PCNs and the evolving landscape of primary care.
