We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation when necessary. Your ability to engage with guests and provide recommendations will enhance their dining experience and contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns.
• Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
• Basic maths skills are required for processing orders and handling payments.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables simultaneously.
• A passion for guest services and a commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality.
• Experience in upselling techniques is beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 40 per week
