Our client is a RCVS accredited practice offering a mix of preventative, medical and surgical cases in a first opinion setting. Situated in the wonderful city of Derby, the practice is centrally located with great transport links to the rest of the country with trains running from Derby to London, Nottingham, Birmingham, and Leeds to name a few. East Midlands airport is also just 30 minutes away.
The practice is well-equipped with state-of-the-art lab facilities, digital x-ray, ultrasound, theatre suite and three consulting rooms. Their out-of-hours care and hospitalisation facilities are supported by a Tier 3 accredited hospital and 7 sister practice sites, all accredited by the RCVS under the Practice Standards Scheme. They are a feline-focused clinic offering a much slower and relaxed pace than the hospital.
As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and tailor the service provided around your strengths and interests. Our client actively encourages and supports further certificate study, ensuring you have the tools and training you need to deliver the best possible care to all patients.
They pride themselves on delivering exceptional care and support to all patients and their owners and are looking for an experienced Vet Surgeon to join them in delivering the highest standards of veterinary care.
To be eligible for this role, you must be RCVS registered, confident in all aspects of 1st opinion work, and possess a clean and current driving license. You must be comfortable working in a team environment, as well as independently and be able to work well under pressure. Self-motivation and confidence in your skillset are also essential requirements.
Role:
– Salary up to £68,000 DOE
– Relocation allowance of up to £5,000
– Full-time – up to 38 hours per week
– Part-time applications considered as well as job share
