Full job description
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our food led Pub the Crown & Cushion, Welburn, North Yorkshire.
Successful candidates will…………
Preferably have Rosette experience and used to making all food from scratch including bread, sauces, and desserts.
A qualified Sous Chef through experience, and or formal qualification.
Passionate about food and service, motivational and strives for excellence.
Can work to tight specifications as well as demonstrating innovation and creativity.
Commercial, driven by targets and experienced at costings, food margins and stock controls.
Organised and willing to cover a range of tasks including food preparation and oversee food ordering.
A strong team player, with a ‘can do’ attitude, who can gain and holds respect with our customers, and working with kitchen and front of house staff.
An excellent communicator and relationships building skills.
Conversant in Food Hygiene and Food Safety regulations.
As many of our site are in remote, rural locations, successful candidates will need transport.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £33,000.00 per year
