As a Senior/Geotechnical Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring

the stability and safety of infrastructure projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Ground Investigations:

· Designing and preparing documentation for ground investigations.

· Supervising on-site ground investigations, foundations, and earthworks.

· Collating and interpreting results from ground investigations.

2. Engineering Solutions:

· Developing innovative engineering solutions for earthworks, foundations, slopes, and retaining structures.

· Mentoring junior team members and providing quality checks on their work.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications, skills, and knowledge:

· Education:

o A degree in Civil Engineering (with an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering preferred).

o Progress toward chartered status with a relevant professional institution.

· Experience:

o Proven geotechnical experience across various sectors.

o Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, including internal professionals, third-party asset owners, stakeholders, technical officers, and contractors.

· Technical Skills:

o Familiarity with project stages (appraisal, outline design, detailed design, and construction).

o Strong understanding of budget and program control.

o Effective time management and ability to balance multiple priorities.

o Proficiency in designing, planning, and organizing tasks.

· Interpersonal Skills:

o Collaborative approach to building effective teams.

o Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills.

o Proactive problem-solving mindset.

· Attention to Detail:

o Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
