Main Purpose of the Job: We are looking for a Manager to join our Restaurant team at the Oxford Brunch Bar Restaurants to work closely and assist the other Restaurant managers in our two award-winning restaurants. The candidate will need management experience.


  • To maintain the highest standard in managing the team and serving guests.
  • Training staff.
  • Communicating with other departments in the hotel.
  • Having a friendly and interpersonal manner with guests
  • Attending work in a timely manner
  • Performing basic cleaning duties
  • Preparing mixed drinks for guests and serving on the bar when necessary
  • Handling any issues that arise within the hotel efficiently
  • Planning menus
  • Working with food and drink suppliers
  • Ensuring all food safety procedures are strictly followed according to sanitary regulations
  • Following all company policies and procedures regarding dealing with cash, equipment and property
  • Implementing appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales
  • Auditing inventory levels to ensure product availability, and ordering products as necessary
  • Recruiting and training staff
  • Working closely with management to meet revenue objectives
  • The candidate must be confident in managing a team during service
  • Able to manage guest concerns, allergies and complaints in order to maintain a positive restaurant atmosphere.
  • To ensure the restaurant is kept clean and tidy.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required to fulfil the business needs.

Requirements and skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
  • 5-10 years of food and beverage service industry experience required
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager
  • Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software.
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • Acute financial management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budgets
  • BSc degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £22,350.71-£44,168.60 per year
