You must have Production Baking and Hand Molding skills as you will be working in a production setting producing large volumes of bread, rolls etc

Universal Bakers is a well-established bakery known for our delicious, freshly baked goods. We pride ourselves on using high-quality ingredients and traditional baking methods to create a wide range of breads, pastries, and cakes. We are a family run business for the past 20 years.

We deal with the production of all variety of bread, rolls and are keen to extend our line of production.

Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Baker/Baker Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for baking and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and cakes.
  • Ensuring all products meet our high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies.
  • Collaborating with the team to develop new recipes and products.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in baking or a related field is preferred but not essential (training will be provided to those who meet the general requirements of this ad).
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work early mornings and weekends
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive attitude and a passion for baking in a wholesale setting
  • Good English language speaking skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 38.7 – 45 per week
