Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in our WHS Smith Euston Branch.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It is a non dispensing pharmacy,
• It provides a wide range of services including BP, Vaccinations including flu and private.

This pharmacy is open 7 days a week Monday to Sunday, 07:00am-20:00pm. 3 week working pattern a mix of 3-4 days per week.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional patient care, including medication counseling, prescription dispensing, and health advice.
– Oversee and lead a team of pharmacy assistants to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
– Manage medication inventory, including ordering, storage, and quality control.
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and medication therapy.
– Conduct medication reviews and interventions to enhance patient safety and adherence.
– Stay updated on pharmaceutical developments, regulations, and best practices to deliver high-quality services.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent qualification.
– GPhC registration is mandatory for this role.
– Prior experience in pharmacy management is preferred.
– Strong knowledge of patient care practices, ICU settings, anatomy, and medication administration.
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
