Are you a qualified pharmacist with experience in delivering exceptional patient care? We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our dynamic NHS team. This opportunity is open to pharmacists who have completed the Overseas Pharmacists Assessment Programme (OSPAP) and are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
As an pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of pharmacy services to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care, including dispensing medications and offering expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to manage and optimize patient treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with NHS policies, procedures, and clinical governance standards.
- Contribute to the education and training of junior staff and pharmacy students.
- Support ongoing audits, research, and continuous professional development initiatives.
Eligibility and Requirements
To apply for this role, you must:
- Qualifications and Registration:
- Hold a pharmacy qualification recognized by the GPhC.
- Have completed the Overseas Pharmacists Assessment Programme (OSPAP).
- Be fully registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) in the UK.
- Experience:
- Demonstrable experience working in a pharmacy setting (hospital or community).
- Familiarity with NHS procedures and standards is desirable but not essential.
- Skills:
- Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Visa Sponsorship:
- Eligible for a Skilled Worker Visa.
- Must meet the English language requirements for visa sponsorship (e.g., IELTS/OET).
