Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design, ensuring high-quality finishes in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Select and mix colours to achieve desired effects as per client specifications.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Communicate with clients regarding their requirements and provide updates on progress.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while working on-site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in painting and decorating is essential.
• Ability to drive is preferred for travelling between job sites.
• Proficient in English with strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in painting and decorating would be an advantage but are not mandatory.

Pay: £34,134.00-£38,900.00 per year
