Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Managers to join our team. This role is essential in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. The Nursery Room Manager will oversee daily activities, manage staff, and ensure that the highest standards of care and education are maintained. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills with a background, and experience in early childhood education, together with a commitment to developing the children in our care.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR US TO SPONSOR YOU IN THE UK WITH A SKILLED WORKER VISA THEN YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PROVE THAT YOU HAVE A DEGREE LEVEL QUALIFICATION IN EARLY YEARS EDUCATION THAT WILL TRANSLATE TO THE UK ( QUALIFIED KINDERGARTEN PROFESSIONAL OR PRE SCHOOL PROFESSIONAL ).

Your degree must say EARLY YEARS – not education management, or educational psychology or any other degree – it must be in EARLY YEARS – or have EARLY YEARS modules as part of a teaching degree.

WE CAN ALSO ACCEPT TRANSFERS OF CURRENT SKILLED WORKER VISAS (in Early Years) TO OUR OWN SPONSORS LICENSE.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the room team to ensure effective delivery of early years education and care.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all children, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Monitor children’s development through observation and assessment, ensuring individual needs are met.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment that supports each child’s learning journey.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements within the nursery setting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in childcare or UK early years education is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A solid understanding of child development principles and practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth in a nursery setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: £32,000.00 per year
