Kitchen Manager: Visa sponsorship


Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations at LACROSSE APARTMENTS LTD.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in managing kitchen staff and operations. As Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality food, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and fostering a positive work environment for our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Menu Planning and Development:

Collaborate with management and culinary team to create innovative menus that reflect culinary trends, seasonal ingredients, and guest preferences.

Develop recipes, adjust existing ones, and incorporate new ingredients and techniques to enhance menu offerings.

Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.

Food Preparation and Cooking:

Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to established recipes and standards.

Lead by example in the kitchen, demonstrating culinary techniques and providing guidance to kitchen staff as needed.

Monitor food production processes and adjust workflow to meet demand and minimize wait times.

Kitchen Staff Management:

Recruit, hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants.

Provide leadership and direction to ensure that staff members are knowledgeable, skilled, and motivated to perform their roles effectively.

Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.

Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies, order ingredients and supplies as needed, and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.

Implement strategies to minimize waste, control costs, and optimize inventory turnover.

Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment.

Conduct regular inspections of kitchen facilities and equipment to identify and address any maintenance or hygiene issues.

Train kitchen staff on proper food handling procedures, safety protocols, and sanitation practices.

Menu Costing and Budgeting:

Analyze food costs, portion sizes, and menu pricing to optimize profitability while maintaining value for guests.

Develop cost-effective recipes, portioning guidelines, and inventory management practices.

Monitor expenses, track revenue, and manage budgets to achieve financial goals and targets.


Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a hospitality establishment.

Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institution.

Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes.

Creative culinary skills and passion for culinary arts and innovation.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £22,853.93-£36,969.76 per year
