Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for helping others. As an IT Support Specialist at Razorpoint, you will provide critical support to our internal teams and clients, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of IT systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote IT support to employees and clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and network devices.
- Monitor and respond to support tickets in a timely manner, escalating issues as necessary.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Ensure all systems are up to date with the latest security patches and updates.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
- Document support procedures and create user guides to enhance internal knowledge.
Skills:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in using remote support tools and software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and ticketing systems like Jira or ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
