Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Junior Android Developer to join our team. As a Junior Android Developer at Razorpoint, you will work alongside experienced developers to design, develop, and maintain Android applications. This is a great opportunity to start your career in mobile app development and contribute to the creation of innovative apps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Test and debug applications to ensure high-quality performance and user experience.
• Stay updated on the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and the overall quality of the apps.

Skills:

• Basic understanding of Android development principles and the Android SDK.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Kotlin and/or Java.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of Android development.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating them into mobile applications.
• Basic knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of mobile app architecture patterns such as MVVM or MVP.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit or Espresso.
• Knowledge of the Google Play Store submission process.
