From our humble beginnings in Bradford we now service our valued customers up and down the country from our head office in Bradford and our distribution centres with high quality sandwiches that delight millions of end users every year through our vast customer network.

Due to continued growth we are now looking for a Maintenence Manager to support the running of our Bradford site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This new role will work alongside the Engineering Manager and current maintenance team

Our vision is to build our in-house skills to improve the total productive maintenance of our machines, electrical and HVAC System. The site has grown significantly in the past five years and we now see an opportunity to add this role to the site team and improve our standards and efficiency across our Bradford Site.

The role will work closely with the Engineering Manager at the Bradford Site to develop common maintenance systems for both our sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of maintenance tasks relating to Tiffin Sandwiches machinery and equipment.

Enhance our current planned maintenance system, breakdown repair and condition monitoring of all machinery and equipment.

Analyse downtime, and problems permanently to enhance up time and availability of equipment.

Development a clear communication cascade so all stakeholders are kept up to date with progress

To manage and deliver departmental based improvement projects.

Proactively identify and implement improvements to operational machinery, considering efficiencies and the impact on other departments. Promoting a continuous improvement culture within the organisation.

Identify creative ways to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems.

Work in conjunction with operational staff on daily operational engineering issues.

Manage sub-contractors as required.

Responsible for ensuring a safe, clean and hazard free working environment for all staff is always maintained.

Perform general administration as required.
