About Us:

Madras Takeaway is a busy and well-loved Indian takeaway based on City Road in Sheffield. Known for our authentic recipes and fast-growing customer base, we’re now looking for a skilled and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and help us continue delivering high-quality Indian cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cook a wide range of traditional and modern Indian dishes to a consistently high standard
• Manage kitchen operations and ensure smooth service during peak hours
• Train and supervise kitchen staff
• Maintain cleanliness and food hygiene to UK standards
• Order and manage kitchen supplies and stock
• Collaborate on menu updates and specials

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Indian kitchen
• Strong understanding of Indian cooking techniques, spices, and regional flavours
• Good leadership and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Must be able to relocate to Sheffield, UK
• Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate
