Overview of Role

We are looking for an Events Manager to plan and execute best-in-class client retention and prospecting events as a part of our growing team in London.

In this role you will support and actively lead parts of this effort. Event formats will include corporate conferences, product launch, drinks receptions, exhibition viewings, exhibiton stand build, outdoor events and the portfolio is consistently evolving.

Reporting into our Assistant Director responsible for events, this role sits alongside Events Coordinators and other Events Managers.


  • Working with our Events Coordinators and other Events Managers, this role will contribute to, and lead parts of, our client retention and prospecting events programs
  • Provide end-to-end event project management – to include booking of event space, delegates management; liaison with internal services, internal and external communications, and onsite management as required. Activating event plans with brand, business, and marketing strategies, ensuring a seamless end user experience
  • Amplify Mason Events brand through the creation of unique and memory experiences, executed at the highest level
  • Use of digital tools. Use Canva for proposals, invitations and micro-site creation. Work in conjunction with on-site AV team and external production companies as required
  • Budget management – creation, approval, and post event reconciliation
  • Venue sourcing – seek venues appropriate to event brief, brand and outcomes and present to relevant stakeholders. Undertake venue visits to assess suitability
  • Collaborate closely with Group Hospitality team, to help guide clients on upcoming hospitality events
  • Post-event reporting and evaluation, collating feedback from internal and external attendees and stakeholders as appropriate.

Experience, skills and competencies required

  • Experience of managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience of managing virtual events and host platforms
  • Previous experience of the creation and building of websites and event registration platforms
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels
  • Pro-active, resourceful approach to the delivery of events
  • Willing to work as part of a team or individually – motivated and with a sense of pride in the function of events
  • Creative, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Professional, positive attitude, flexible approach
  • Event delivery experience
  • Knowledge of hospitality, events across sectors, venues, and suppliers would be useful
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

  • Mandarin-speaking candidate only

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
