Job Description: As the Coffee Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shop, managing the staff, and ensuring that our customers receive excellent service. Your role is crucial in maintaining the shop’s reputation for quality and friendliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of baristas and support staff. Foster a positive and motivated work environment.
  • Customer Service: Ensure all customers have an outstanding experience, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Sales & Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and attract new customers, including promotional activities and social media presence.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, including labor costs, stock levels, and wastage. Ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that the coffee shop meets all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
  • Product Development: Work with suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of quality products and introduce new items to the menu to keep offerings fresh and exciting.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role, ideally within the hospitality or retail sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a passion for coffee and hospitality.
  • Ability to manage finances, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: £22,146.00-£28,000.00 per year
