Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team.

1) In the precision engineering department wear need a man who is capable of working with autocad & solidworks, capable of programming cnc mills & lathes & 3d printing. The machines we have are hurco cnc machines which are conversational programming 3 lathes ( TMM8, TM8i, TM10i) 3 milling machines ( VM10i, VM30i, VM3)

2) Fabrication……. someone capable of sheet metal fabrication & tig welding in mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium

3) Mild steel fabrication, capable of manufacturing in mild steel, mesh cages, ornamental ironwork gates, railings

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engineering solutions using CAD software, specifically SolidWorks.
• Fabricate and assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Utilise hand tools for precise measurements and adjustments during the fabrication process.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and usage.
• Work with logic controllers to troubleshoot and optimise production workflows.
• Collaborate with team members to improve tooling processes and enhance productivity.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in an engineering role, demonstrating mechanical knowledge and practical skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, is essential.
• Familiarity with fabrication techniques and the ability to assemble complex components is required.
• Experience in using hand tools and handling materials safely is advantageous.
• Knowledge of logic controllers and tooling processes will be beneficial for this position.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong attention to detail are essential traits for success in this role.

Pay: £31,000.00-£38,500.00 per year
