Care Assistant

Overview:

Join our team as a Care Assistant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring care. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing compassionate support in home care settings and care homes, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement personalized care plans for each client.
– Assist clients with daily activities such as grooming, bathing, and meal preparation.
– Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
– Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
– Maintain accurate records of client information and care provided.
– Drive to attend client visits as needed.
– Collaborate with the care team to ensure holistic care for clients.
– Any other duties related to caregiving as assigned.

Requirements:
– Experience in creating and implementing care plans.
– Proficiency in basic IT skills for record keeping.
– Strong command of English for clear communication.
– Familiarity with home care practices and procedures.
– Valid driver’s license for attending client visits.
– Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
– Prior experience in a care home setting is a plus.

This role may require flexibility in working hours based on client needs. Candidates should be willing to work within the hours of operation typically between 7 am – 6 pm. Additionally, duty cover on weekends and evenings may be required as per the agreed schedule.

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 37.5 per week
