Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for by assisting with daily activities and fostering a supportive environment.

Duties
– Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
– Support individuals in following their care plans and achieving their personal goals.
– Help with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
– Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
– Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions to the appropriate personnel.
– Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
– Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.

Requirements
– Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
– Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is essential
– Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
– Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating within the team.
– A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving home visits.
– Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
– A compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
