With three thriving cafés in Bolton, Blackburn, and Manchester, RF Café has built a strong reputation for all-day brunch and viral desserts. Now, we’re expanding with a brand-new bakery in Bolton — and we’re looking for a skilled bread baker to help bring our vision to life.

About the Role:
We are searching for an experienced baker with a passion and proven skill for sourdough and artisan bread. Your primary focus will be crafting exceptional loaves, from long-fermented sourdoughs to a range of hand-shaped, slow-proofed breads that showcase real craftsmanship.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Mixing, shaping, and baking sourdough and other artisan breads to the highest standards
• Managing fermentation and proofing processes with precision
• Working with quality ingredients to create consistent, standout products
• Assisting in the development of new bread recipes and seasonal specials
• Upholding high standards of hygiene, organisation, and production quality
• Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth daily production

What We’re Looking For:

• Professional experience in artisan breadmaking, particularly sourdough
• Strong technical skills in hand shaping, fermentation control, and oven work
• A passion for traditional breadmaking and real attention to detail
• Ability to maintain consistency in a fast-paced, growing bakery
• Team player mindset and positive attitude
