Coburn & Baker, a well established (year 2000) and growing artisan bakery, based in Brighton, is looking for an baker Ideally with commitment and passion for baking and with a good eye for fine details. we are currently looking to add 2 bakers to our team of bread bakers and to our patisserie section. Full training will be given.

We have moved to our new and modern bakery 3 years ago and we are looking forward to expand our range.

We are a wholesale craft bakery, supplying breads, sourdough breads, patisserie savouries and cakes to high end restaurants, pubs, cafes, caterers & boutique hotels throughout Sussex and Surrey. Our bakery operates 24/7, offering a unique service for catering establishments.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, talented and reliable new member of staff to join our patisserie team.

Less experienced candidates may be considered, depending on relevant experience.

Shift are 8/9 hours long, starting between 11am and 3 pm.

The job will consist of preparing and baking a large variety of high quality viennoiserie , patisserie and breads.

full in house training will be given. This job will require the candidate to work on Saturdays and Sundays. 2 consecutive days off are in the mid week.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent.

Starting salary: £12 to £13.50 and depending on experience.

(Higher rates of pay for well experienced bakers)
