Job Title: Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics

Location: Gillingham

Salary: £41000

As a Theatre Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to our patients before, during and after surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing the operating room for surgical procedures and ensuring all necessary equipment is available and sterile
• Assisting the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments and supplies
• Monitoring patients’ vital signs during surgery and recovery
• Administering medications and anaesthetics as directed by the Anaesthetist
• Ensuring a safe and sterile environment in the operating room
• Documenting all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with an up-to-date NMC registration
• Experience in Theatre Nursing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of relevant guidelines and regulations
