Job Overview
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Heat Pump/Air Conditioning Engineer—ideally MCS-accredited for Air Source Heat Pumps or already qualified in air conditioning—but if you’re not yet accredited, don’t worry: we’ll provide all the training and support you need to achieve MCS status. No prior experience or qualifications are required, though they’re a bonus and preferred. As a new entrant, you’ll receive full on-the-job training, plus enrolment in the relevant courses once your Skilled Worker visa is in place.
This role offers a clear pathway to grow within our business and ultimately become a self-employed, MCS-accredited heat pump engineer, supported every step of the way.
Responsibilities
- Design, install & maintain air conditioning and heat-pump systems across residential and commercial sites
- Read & interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Inspect & troubleshoot units regularly to ensure peak performance
- Perform repairs & component replacements as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues and coordinate with other trades for seamless project delivery
- Record & report maintenance activities, service results, and parts usage

Qualifications & Attributes
- No formal qualifications or prior experience required(although preferred)—we’ll train you from the ground up
- MCS accreditation or HVAC certification is ideal, but not essential
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to read technical drawings is a plus (training provided)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A proactive, can-do attitude and commitment to delivering top-quality work
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
