Job Summary:

Hiranica Private Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join a well-established multidisciplinary team supporting individuals with complex neurological conditions. This full-time role is based across two specialist care sites in the West Midlands.

About the Role:

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will work within a collaborative environment alongside physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, dietitians, psychologists, and care staff. You will play a key role in delivering individualised and group therapy sessions, supporting residents throughout their rehabilitation journey — from slow-stream recovery to long-term care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform neurological and musculoskeletal (MSK) assessments
• Develop and implement person-centred treatment plans
• Deliver both individual and group rehabilitation interventions
• Collaborate with internal and external healthcare professionals
• Attend care reviews, external appointments, and support discharge planning
• Monitor progress and adjust care plans based on evolving needs
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation in line with professional standards
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to staff training

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration
• Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience in Occupational Therapy
• Experience working with neurological conditions
• Proficiency in occupational performance assessments
• Knowledge of upper limb splinting and ADL-focused rehabilitation
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Team-oriented with excellent communication abilities
• UK driving licence (preferred, not mandatory)

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with the Model of Human Occupation or Vona du Toit’s Model of Creative Ability
• Experience in mental capacity assessments and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
• Background in planning and delivering group therapy sessions
