About the Role

As a Welder with balustrade experience, you will fabricate and install metal components, focusing on small gauge aluminium welding (1.0 to 3.0 mm). You will work on-site and off-site, ensuring high-quality finishes on all projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium (small gauge 1.0–3.0 mm)
• Fabricate and assemble metal components as per technical drawings
• Read and interpret detailed drawings accurately
• Carry out installation on-site
• Follow workplace health and safety guidelines

Candidate Requirements

• Trade qualification or equivalent practical experience in welding or boilermaking
• Proven skills in MIG and TIG welding, especially on small gauge aluminium
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality finish
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Valid driver’s licence
