Graduate Surveyor: Visa sponsorship

Copping Joyce Surveyors Ltd

Full job description

Copping Joyce Surveyors is looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Surveyor to join our Social Housing Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate eager to gain hands-on experience and develop their career in valuations and property consultancy. As part of a fast-moving SME, you’ll get real responsibility, work on meaningful projects, and have a clear path to becoming chartered.

We value initiative, attention to detail, and a commercial mindset. If you’re looking to avoid the rigid corporate route and want to grow in a firm where hard work is recognised and rewarded, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with valuations of social housing assets for lenders, housing associations, and local authorities.
  • Supporting senior surveyors with site inspections, market analysis, and data gathering.
  • Contributing to affordable housing projects, regeneration schemes, and portfolio disposals.
  • Preparing valuation reports and engaging with clients under supervision.
  • Working across departments to gain exposure to development land, commercial, and residential portfolios.

What We’re Looking For:

  • RICS-accredited degree (or currently working towards it).
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and written skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A genuine interest in social housing, valuations, and property consultancy.
  • Ambition to become MRICS qualified with a desire to grow within the firm.

What We Offer:

  • Full APC support and mentoring from experienced surveyors.
  • Exposure to live projects and direct client interaction from day one.
  • Individual performance bonuses – your hard work and results won’t go unnoticed.
  • flexible, collaborative work environment that values independence and personal growth.
  • A clear route to progression and career development.

If you’re looking to kick-start your surveying career in an environment that rewards ambition and offers real-world experience, we’d love to hear from you.
