Position: South Indian Chef
Employment type: Full-time, permanent (45 hours per week)

About us
We are a well-established chain of South Indian restaurants that serves authentic dishes from across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Each kitchen grinds its own batters daily, roasts its own spices and cooks to order in traditional tawa, uruli and clay pots.
The role
You will lead the hot section in one of our busy London sites and help shape menus group-wide. You will:
- Prepare classic and regional specialities—dosa, idli, vada, Chettinad curries, Hyderabadi biryani, Keralan seafood stews and contemporary vegetarian dishes.
- Ensuring consistent portioning, seasoning and presentation during high-volume service.
- Order, receive and monitor stock.
What we look for:
- Minimum three years’ experience in an established South Indian kitchen
- Experience in a multi-site or branded environment
- Proven skill with dosa batter fermentation, spice blends and tandoor
- NVQ Level 3 Professional Cookery or equivalent
