Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Retrofitter to join our dynamic team in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for upgrading and modifying existing structures and systems to improve their efficiency, functionality, and sustainability. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of construction practices and retrofitting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing structures and systems to determine retrofitting needs.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop effective retrofitting plans.
• Install, modify, or replace components such as insulation, windows, doors, and HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations during retrofitting projects.
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to retrofitting tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Previous experience in retrofitting or related construction roles is an advantage but not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
