Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and be adept at managing a diverse range of administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently, providing support to both staff and management.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate office activities to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Manage clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the use of office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is well-stocked and operational.
  • Implement and maintain administrative systems, procedures, and policies.
  • Assist in human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
  • Handle financial tasks using QuickBooks, including invoicing and expense tracking.
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective team management practices.
  • Ensure adherence to phone etiquette standards when handling incoming calls.

Skills

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff at all levels.
  • Proven experience in supervising teams and managing office dynamics.
  • Proficiency in administrative functions with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of human resources practices is beneficial but not essential.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £35,001.00-£390,000.00 per year
