Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Junior QA Engineer at Razorpoint, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to create and execute test plans, identify issues, and ensure that our software meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of software products.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and define testing strategies.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and inconsistencies in software products.
• Perform regression testing and verify that bugs are fixed and do not reoccur.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality aspects.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and testing practices to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills:

• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks for both manual and automated testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in software quality assurance.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies and practices.
