Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Junior DevOps Engineer at Razorpoint, you will be responsible for supporting the development and operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications and infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in DevOps practices and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, deployment, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Help manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Participate in the automation of repetitive tasks and processes to increase efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices to continually improve operations.

Skills:

• Basic understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer, or similar are a plus.
