Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our client esteemed establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and guest services, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills while ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for both guests and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to managing hotel operations, enhancing guest satisfaction, and driving overall performance.
Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring all departments function smoothly and efficiently.
- Lead and supervise staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high standards of service.
- Manage guest services, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a positive guest experience while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with human resources to recruit, train, and evaluate hotel staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting, to ensure profitability while maintaining quality service.
- Coordinate with various departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with guests, addressing their needs effectively and efficiently.
- Utilise bilingual or multilingual skills to enhance communication with diverse clientele.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality best practices and guest service excellence.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Experience in human resources management is advantageous.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with guests from various backgrounds.
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required.

Pay: £35,924.00-£38,700.00 per year
