Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our team in creating exceptional culinary experiences. The successful candidate will lead our kitchen team, ensuring high-quality food production and maintaining food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
– Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen
– Supervise and train kitchen staff on culinary techniques and procedures
– Lead menu planning and recipe development
– Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
– Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control
– Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
– Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving kitchen operations
– Provide leadership and guidance to the kitchen team
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a hospitality or restaurant setting
– Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques
– Excellent understanding of food safety practices
– Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving culinary excellence
– Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
– Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for team management
– A passion for creating innovative dishes while maintaining traditional flavours

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £24,702.69-£37,249.13 per year
