Job description

Your job as a Film Editor includes:

• Manage camera footage for events such as qawwali music, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects to produce a final film or video product.
• Incorporate visual effects, sound, and graphics to enhance video quality.
• Ensure all video content aligns with the event’s creative theme and branding.
• Collaborate with the events organizer and other creative staff to meet project goals.
• Organize video files and project assets efficiently.

• • Edit live event footage promptly for social media updates and post-event summaries.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications in Film Editing or a related discipline are preferred.
• A background in hospitality, music production, or cultural event coordination is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving under pressure.
• Knowledge of Qawwali or cultural music events is highly desirable but not mandatory.
