Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced care Team Leader to join our team in providing exceptional care within a senior care capacity. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for our clients. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising care staff, rotas, developing care plans, and ensuring that all aspects of patient care are delivered effectively, safely and compassionately.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the care team to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
- Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans for clients.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to care staff in their daily duties and professional development.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of care staff, providing constructive feedback as necessary.
- Drive initiatives aimed at improving client care and overall service delivery within the clients home.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to IT systems used for patient management.
Requirements
- ideally a QCF 3 qualification with relevant experience in a senior care setting.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on effective interpersonal interactions.
- Experience in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Familiarity with IT systems used in healthcare settings is advantageous.
- A compassionate approach towards elderly care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while also being able to work independently when required.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle. ( Mileage paid for)
- Take part in oncall/out of office hours rota.
- Ability to work from home.

The position is the creation of a new job post for an expanding, established Domiciliary care company currently in the process of expanding to provide Domiciliary care in the south Ceredigion area.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
