As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and experienced Chef Manager to join our team and lead our kitchen operations.

Job Description:

As the Chef Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes while managing and mentoring a team of chefs. Your creativity and leadership will play a key role in maintaining our restaurant’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Menu Development: Design and innovate the menu to reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while maintaining cost control.
• Team Management: Lead, train, and develop a team of chefs, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
• Operational Management: Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, purchasing, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards and comply with food safety regulations.
• Budgeting: Manage the kitchen’s budget, monitor food costs, and work towards maximizing profitability.
• Health & Safety: Ensure the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to gather feedback and ensure their dining experience exceeds expectations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or in a similar role with experience with Indian cuisine.
• Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication, and a passion for culinary innovation.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Familiarity with menu planning and inventory management.
• Health & Safety: Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
• Visa Requirements: Eligible for sponsorship under the UK Skilled Worker Visa program. Must meet the criteria for English language proficiency and other relevant visa requirements.
