St Davids Care in the Community consists of 4 care homes in the small city of St Davids, Pembrokeshire.

Each care home has between 5 to 8 resdients who have learning disabilities and aged between 40 years and 70 years.

Our company has been established for our 45 years.

Job Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of residents. Duties: – Assist residents with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and feeding – Support residents with mobility and physical activities – Follow care plans and communicate effectively with the care team – Provide emotional support to residents and their families – Help maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents – Drive residents to appointments or outings as required – Utilise IT systems for record-keeping and reporting purposes – Assist with medication administration under supervision Qualifications: – Proficient in spoken and written English – Experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable – Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents and colleagues – A valid driving licence to transport residents when necessary – Basic IT skills for documentation purposes Benefits: – Competitive salary commensurate with experience – Opportunities for career development and training programmes – Supportive work environment focused on teamwork and resident well-being If you are a caring individual with a passion for providing quality care to vulnerable individuals, we invite you to apply for the Care Assistant position.
